Advocacy

In an environment of unprecedented change and potential, Spark Media is pushing the boundaries of activist storytelling and wielding content as a tool for social change. Artful use of social media has dramatically expanded our organization’s reach to an increasingly wider audience around the globe. Spark focuses on generating stories that otherwise would go untold, and giving voice to perspectives otherwise absent.

Advocacy is at the very core of what Spark Media is all about. Since our founding in 1989, Spark has accrued a strong track record for using storytelling to foster social and institutional change. Our work goes beyond conventional “outreach” and audience development, because we: a) craft long-term, sustained partnerships with stakeholders, b) offer a range of media services, and c) serve as a hub between communities, educators, leaders and distributors/ broadcasters.

You can see some of our PSA and Advocacy work on the left side of this page, or you can see a full list in our Vault. Let Spark help you build capacity, broaden your constituencies and catalyze change. Please contact us for more information about how we can help with your advocacy production needs.
